This book of poetry contains rather candid explorations of intimate familiarities with many kinds of love as well as the very palpable absence thereof. It also contains love letters, huge regrets, unforeseen traumas, incorrigible hopes, rainbow-colored tote bags, lesbian bars, purple top hats, and several instances of people being genuinely lovely and loving.
This, my first collection of poetry, accompanies the release of my new short documentary, aquest (no) es el teu ocea("this is (not) your ocean"), which is premiering at the 28th Queer Lisboa festival in Portugal in September 2024.
