This book of poetry contains rather candid explorations of intimate familiarities with many kinds of love as well as the very palpable absence thereof. It also contains love letters, huge regrets, unforeseen traumas, incorrigible hopes, rainbow-colored tote bags, lesbian bars, purple top hats, and several instances of people being genuinely lovely and loving.

This, my first collection of poetry, was created in tandem with my short experimental documentary, aquest (no) es el teu ocea("this is (not) your ocean"), which premiered at the 28th Queer Lisboa festival in Portugal and at International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in The Netherlands in the fall of 2024.
